- Decided to add summaries of minutes of meetings to branch website
- This year so far 54 stewards have submitted nomination forms. This is an improvement on last year, but still short of the 70+ we had previously, so anyone who wants to volunteer as a steward please send in your nomination form – full training and support is available
- NJC pay award discussed
- Croma sackings discussed – conciliation has occurred unsuccessfully through ACAS. Employment tribunals have now been submitted
- NSL pay award discussed – indicative ballot for strike action is underway
- 5PS discussed – including health and safety survey and upcoming meeting with Gary Younge
- Corporate meetings discussed – strategy set for approaches for various meetings with senior management
- Unison conferences – practicalities and motions discussed for Unison conferences
