81% of members in Camden voted to reject the employers’ pay offer for 2018-2020, with 19% voting to accept.
Read on for more information on the 2-year pay offer which has been made by the employers for NJC council workers. Importantly it does break the pay freeze, but it still doesn’t keep up with inflation.

Camden UNISON members at the Holmes road depot have voted unanimously in favour of industrial action in defence of their shop steward, Will Jennings, who is being victimised and TUPE transferred to a private contractor. Members across local government branches in England, Wales and the union’s Northern Ireland region, who are covered by the National Joint Council pay framework, have voted overwhelmingly (64% to 35%) to reject the employers’ pay offer.
