Camden’s Flu Vaccination Boots voucher available

Camden’s flu vaccination service

Helping you & your colleagues stay healthy this winter

Dear Colleague,

I am pleased to tell you that we will be offering a FREE seasonal flu vaccination service again this year. Boots are again providing our vaccines to help you avoid catching flu this winter.

Flu is a highly infectious disease. Having a vaccination helps reduce the incidence of flu – in fact, it reduces it by over 80%*. It’s a simple and quick way of helping you fight the bug and stay healthy throughout the winter months.

Staff will be required to collect a Boots voucher from the HR office at the Town Hall Extension between 9.30am – 5.00pm, Monday to Friday (please bring your Camden ID) or request a voucher via email and it will be sent out to you in the internal post.

The full address is: Room 301e, 3rd Floor,

Town Hall Ext, Argyle Street,      London WC1H 8NP

Contact: Janice Duvigneau – 020 7974 2988

Schools/Centres

Schools and Children Centre staff are also entitled to the vaccines and will need to request the vouchers via email. The names of those staff requesting the vaccine should be sent to Annette.taylor@camden.gov.uk . Vouchers will be sent out in the internal post by return.

Colleagues who are offered the Flu jab via their GP services should take up their entitlement in that way. This will allow them to remain under the care of their GP and allow us to maximise the number of staff we can help.

Flu jabs are offered at the larger branches of Boots. The nearest branches are:

Camden Town (High Street) ; St Pancras Station – Unit 19; Islington (opposite Angel tube station) ; Holloway Road (shopping centre) and 3 branches in Tottenham Court Road.

You can use the store locator at www.boots.com/storelocater to find your nearest store. Ensure you expand the “Additional Store Services” menu and tick the box Flu Vaccinations- Seasonal Flu.

The vaccines will be available week commencing 24th September 2012. Staff will need to make their own appointments with the Boots branch they intend to use.

Here’s to a healthier and happier winter.
