Workers at the Home Office are to take industrial action on 26th July to fight against redundancies, the pay freeze and the victimisation of PCS reps. The strikers have been demonised by the government and by the right-wing media, and we urge people to show these workers their support, as they are struggling for the same things – jobs and fair pay and union rights – that all workers should value.
UPDATE: The strike has been called off after the government has agreed to employ 1100 extra staff in the department.
