Camden UNISON wins pay rise for Caterlink workers, but still a long way to go

Following pressure from our campaign for the London living wage for school meals workers, Caterlink has given a 4.6% pay increase, for the first time moving Caterlink workers off the national minimum wage up to £6.60 per hour. However this still leaves these workers languishing well below the level of the London living wage of £8.80 per hour, and our campaign for the living wage continues.

All Caterlink workers in Camden are urged to join UNISON and to step up the campaign. For more information speak to Hugo Pierre (02079744509) or John Shepherd (02079743972) or contact the branch office.
