Scrap the pay cap – Unison meeting on 10th October @ 1pm in Rm 10.10 in 5 PS

Since 2012 the government has imposed a 1% pay cap on public sector workers, which came after a three year pay freeze. In that time, we have become thousands of pounds worse off,  yet the richest 1000 people in this country have increased their wealth by 14% in the last year alone.

We live in the fifth richest country in the world with 134 billionaires, but over a million people rely on foodbanks. Enough is enough. The pay cap needs to be scrapped.

Camden Unison is holding a meeting to hear what other workers are doing in the fight for decent pay, and discuss what we can do. Read this flyer, come along and join in!
