Solidarity message from John McDonnell MP

“I send my solidarity to all our members taking action on 10 July. You have my 100% support

People have been forced to take industrial action because of the continuing erosion of their living standards by pay freezes and still further real pay cuts. At a time when massive payouts are still being given to bankers and company directors, our members are under mounting, sometimes severe financial pressures. The industrial action is a first step in making it clear that we have had enough and are not willing to take it any more

We demand better; we demand fairness.”

Yours in solidarity,

John McDonnell, Labour MP, Hayes & Harlington, Chair of the Labour Representation Committee & ex-member of Camden NALGO.
