As reported in the Camden New Journal today, the threatened closure of Belsize Fire Station could double the response time to emergencies. A letter from George Binette, who is our Branch Secretary and the Chair of the Trades Council, against the fire service cuts can also be read in the newspaper.
Those who are free on 25th May are urged to join the march to defend the fire service from the London Mayor’s proposed cuts.
