Camden Black Workers’ Group, which aims to represent black and ethnic minority workers in the Council in conjunction with the trade unions, is having a relaunch meeting on Thursday (9th May) at 3pm in the Council Chamber in Camden Town Hall.
Time off for staff to attend has been agreed by HR.
I attended the relaunch meeting and there was a very good turnout. I heard Fraser Valdez’s unfortunate story and was struck by his courage and determination. It’s great that Unision is supporting him and the Camden Black Workers Group.
