George Binette, the Branch Secretary, has a letter in today’s Guardian highlighting the fact the London Fire Brigade was able to provide a good response to the helicopter crash and this could be imperilled by the cuts being proposed for the fire service.
The FBU is calling a lobby on 21st January to campaign against the cuts to the fire service and is urging people to attend.
